About Movie

Unstoppable (Korean: 성난황소) is a 2018 South Korean action thriller written and directed by Kim Min-ho. The movie features Ma Dong-seok and Song Ji-hyo in lead roles, with Kim Sung-oh, Kim Min-jae, Park Ji-hwan, and Bae Noo-ri in supporting parts. It tells the story of a quiet man with a violent past who fights to save his kidnapped wife from a dangerous human trafficking group.

The film was released on November 22, 2018, and earned about US $11.6 million at the box office.

Plot

Kang Dong-cheol once had a fearsome reputation as a gangster, but he left that life behind and now works as a seafood seller. He often tries risky business ideas to make quick money, but they usually fail, frustrating his wife Ji-su.

One night, Dong-cheol’s car is hit by Gi-tae, a ruthless human trafficker. Gi-tae becomes obsessed with Ji-su and kidnaps her. The next day, Dong-cheol finds his wife missing and receives a bag of money from Gi-tae, who treats the kidnapping as if he bought Ji-su.

What Gi-tae doesn’t know is that Dong-cheol used to be a legendary fighter. Determined to rescue Ji-su, Dong-cheol teams up with his loyal friend Choon-sik and a retired detective Gomsajang. Their search leads them to discover that Gi-tae’s group is smuggling drugs and tricking desperate families into selling their wives or daughters for money.

Through dangerous chases and brutal fights, Dong-cheol uncovers the truth about the trafficking network. He finally confronts Gi-tae, defeats him in a fierce showdown, and hands him over to the police. In the end, Dong-cheol is reunited with Ji-su, and together with Choon-sik, they fulfill their dream of opening a seafood restaurant, starting a new chapter of their lives.
